Manuel Martinez de Ubago Alvarez de Sotomayor will join a panel on how emerging companies are transforming port operations at the Smart Ports: Piers of the Future conference, held within the Smart City Expo World Congress framework. This session will explore how collaboration between start-ups, accelerators, and ports fuel new solutions and drive meaningful change in the industry. By embracing these partnerships, ports are becoming more agile, leveraging technology to meet the demands of a fast-evolving global landscape.

The VIII Latin American and Caribbean Virtual Meeting of Port Logistics Communities, organized by the Sistema Económico Latinoamericano y del Caribe (SELA), will explore key challenges and opportunities for the maritime-port sector, including the impact of supply chain disruptions, security, and the adoption of innovative technologies. As ports in Latin America and the Caribbean navigate a rapidly changing global landscape, collaboration and digital transformation are critical.
